Whether the unchanging "being" as a noun discussed by ancient Greek philosophers or the various studies on the "existence" of verb discussed by modern existential philosophers,it shows the core position of the problem of "existence" in philosophy.Russian philosophy has different characteristics from traditional western philosophy, such as ontology and intuitionism. As one of the important philosophers promoting the development of Russian Philosophy in the silver age,Frank put forward a different view from western traditional ontology on the core issue of "being".He believes that being is different from objective reality, and the real existence is the "reality" as the foundation of objective reality and spiritual world. In Frank's view, reality is not only the foundation of the unity of all things, but also human existence, human transcendence and the existence of God.In Frank's book reality and man: the metaphysics of human existence,he criticizes two views on man in history: one is the medieval "theology" that highlights the greatness of God and cheapens people life;the other is the "humanism" that denies God and denies human transcendence and highlights egocentrism.Frank believes that God and man are not separated, but have similarities.God is man's transcendence which is what man lacks and wants to achieve. The deep foundation of human existence is "reality",and this deep reality is the unify of all things including "everything is one".The problem of metaphysical ontology is always the "first philosophy".At present, there is little research on Frank's ontology in China. This paper expounds Frank's thought of ontology to solve how to connect man as personality with universal divinity and how to unify intuitionistic epistemology with ontology, and explains the particularity of Frank's thought of ontology.
