"Not Yet" - Bloch Hopes Philosophical Ontology Research

As one of the most creative philosophers in the history of western philosophy in the20 th century,Bloch takes the problem of human existence and development as the starting point of theoretical research,pays attention to the exertion of humanitarian spirit and adheres to the lofty ideal of communism.Bloch defined the development process of the world as the process of pursuing "Not-Yet-Being",criticized the rigidity of traditional metaphysics with "yet to consciousness",pointed out that the movement and change of human society is an endless and ceaseless process,revealed the trend of future social development with "yet to generate",and began to think about the future development process."Not-Yet-Being" is critical,potential and possible.It expresses the critical negation of the existing facts and open thinking about the future.It can make people look forward to and plan for the future development while maintaining a clear understanding of the real society.As an important ontological category of the philosophy of hope,"Not-Yet-Being" transforms people's realistic needs into the spiritual power to promote practical activities,stimulates people's criticism and creativity,speeds up the transformation of people's way of thinking,makes people's spiritual world richer and fuller,strengthens people's confidence and determination in pursuing development,and promotes the dream of a better life to become a reality.This paper is divided into three chapters.Chapter one discusses the historical background and ideological origin of the ontology of existence.This paper analyzes the important influence of the development process of The Times and the previous theoretical achievements on the development and change of Bloch's thought of "Not-Yet-Being" from the aspects of politics,economy and culture.The second chapter is the core of the thesis,based on the ontology of "Not-Yet-Being",the main content and characteristics of its performance are discussed in detail.Firstly,the philosophical meaning of "Not-Yet-Being" is analyzed,and it is specifically divided into "yet to be generated" and "yet to be conscious",and the development process of the two is discussed in depth.Secondly,it analyzes the manifestation of "Not-Yet-Being".Finally,the theoretical characteristics of "Not-Yet-Being" ontology are discussed.The third chapter reflects and discusses the theoretical limitations and positive significance of "Not-Yet-Being".Mysticism and lack of practical spirit are its inherent disadvantages,but the ontology of "Not-Yet-Being" has certain positive significance for the development of Marxist philosophy and the progress of contemporary Chinese society.
