As the leading figure of the new generation of social critical theory of the Frankfurt School,Hartmut Rosa, based on the historical background of the accelerated development of late modern capitalist society, adheres to the theoretical core of the Frankfurt School critique, explores the root cause of social pathologies that hinder people from achieving a better life in late modern society, and puts forward the theory of social acceleration, pointing out that this accelerated phenomenon has caused a new pathology of social alienation. On this basis,Rosa returned to the study of the phenomenon of human alienation in the critical theory of the Frankfurt School and proposed a new theory of alienation, thus establishing his own outline of social critical theory. After the maturity of the critical theory of social acceleration,in order to cope with the new alienation phenomenon brought about by social acceleration, that is,the trend of desynchronization of the subject and the world,Rosa proposed a "resonance" program to overcome this new alienation phenomenon,in order to get out of the dilemma of novel alienation and achieve a state of mutual response between subject and object.Rosa's social critical theory revolves around how people have a better life, and his new and alienating theory is well connected to the two main theoretical axes of his social acceleration criticism and resonance.Through the study of Rosa's new alienation theory, this paper digs deep into the background, theoretical connotation and solution of Rosa's new alienation theory, and tries to grasp the core ideological system of Rosa and the theoretical demands of new alienation thought in general on the basis of the logical construction of the new alienation theory.
