Rosa Society Accelerates Critical Theory Research

Hartmut Rosa is not only a world-renowned critical theorist of society,but also a major representative of the fourth generation of Franklin School.All his thoughts are centered on the question "how can we have a good life".In his opinion,although modern accelerated society allows people to live a material life,the time structure that follows also builds a new ideological system.Instead of being liberated by accelerated society,people were imprisoned under this new time-discipline system.The acceleration of society violates the "promise of modernity",the individual's subjective consciousness is seriously eroded,and the relationship between man and the world is structurally distorted,which leads to the birth of new alienation.In order to explore the answer to the crisis of modernity,Rosa proposed the critical theory of social acceleration based on the comprehensive study of Marx's critical theory of capitalism,Frankfurt School's social critical theory,Harvey's space-time compression theory and Viciliu's "racing theory" theory.The concept,manifestation,cause,result and solution of social acceleration are systematically analyzed.Although the theory is not perfect,but to a certain extent,he discusses the crisis of modernity and the social development of our country need to face and solve the problem,the pursuit of the ultimate goal and we pursue the ideal of life has a certain fit,so further study of its theory is beneficial to the development of contemporary Chinese society and individuals.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part introduces the social historical background and theoretical origin of Rosa's social accelerated criticism theory.The second part expounds the basic content of Rosa's critical theory of social acceleration,and explains the concept,manifestation,cause,consequence and solution of social acceleration in detail.The third part evaluates and analyzes Rosa's critical theory of social acceleration,points out its theoretical contributions and shortcomings,and explains its realistic enlightenment to contemporary China from multiple levels in detail.In short,Rosa's critical theory of social acceleration is closely related to the realistic problems of the current capitalist society.Further study of the theory,can not only give us knowledge and critical new important theoretical foundation for the contemporary capitalist society,broaden the marxist criticism,and to promote China's socialist modernization construction and realizing people's free and overall development has the important reality enlightenment,this also is the original intention of this paper lies.
