Although onomatopoeia has been used for a long time,its research started late and the research degree is far less than other parts of speech.Based on the corpus of Gaibing Wuyinjiyun(hereinafter referred to as Wuyinjiyun),this paper makes exhaustive statistics of the onomatopoeia it receives,and makes a research on the semantic,phonetic and heterophonic aspects.This paper introduces Wuyinjiyun from the author,the formation of book,the compilation style and the circulation of editions.On the basis of previous research results,this paper strictly defines and chooses the interpretation and literature survey of onomatopoeia in combination with Wuyinjiyun,and statistics 1,084 groups of onomatopoeia as the research object.From the perspective of synchronic,this paper studies the semantic and phonetic features of the onomatopoeia in Wuyinjiyun.According to the different simulated objects,the onomatopoeia can be roughly divided into four categories: nature,characters,animals and objects,and a small number of onomatopoeia indicating sound characteristics.Each category can be divided into several subcategories,and in each subcategory there are several groups of onomatopoeia,from which we can know the general situation of objective sound simulation in Song and Jin Dynasties.The phonetic characteristics of onomatopoeia words are analyzed according to their pronouncing position,clarity and method in initials,the number distribution and proportion of principal vowel,final vowel,opening and closing and tone categories in finals.Starting from the diachronic level,this paper analyzes the different pronunciations of onomatopoeia in Wuyinjiyun,which can be divided into seven kinds of synonymic pronunciations and five kinds of onomatopoeia pronunciations,so as to investigate the phonetic system of Wuyinjiyun,the phonetic evolution in the song and Jin dynasties,and the lexical evolution and development of onomatopoeia.
