Variant Words Study

A lot of research about the existing variant words, most researchers are from the view of modern Chinese characters, they think that the variant words is a homonym, synonym and different words written form. The former researchers always pay attention to the literal by writing (visual) are caused by the different form as "variant words", but ignore the voice body of the literal (hearing) caused by different whether it should really be called "variant words"? In order to achieve the purpose of the ancient Chinese variant words and modern Chinese variant words communication, to provide reference for the study of Chinese variant words.This study generally include the following sections:The first chapter is the introduction, mainly introduces the research purpose, meaning, current situation, methods and materials used, through this introduction, we learned that most researchers to study from the perspective of word shape, and from the view of character shaped to study less. This study is from a new perspective of the research, found hidden behind the phenomenon of language rules, expected to provide some new ideas for the study of variant words.The second chapter in modern Chinese use "variant words" term problems and solutions generated, mainly discusses some researchers defined the variant words. they tend to focus on writing level, at the same time, confused a series of related ancient terms. On this basis, with a considerable part of the length to explore the phenomenon associated with language, trying to explain most researchers defined homonyms, synonyms, different written variant with the ancient Chinese some terms have mixed case. Finally, trying to form some view, the study of Modern Chinese " variant words" name change issue.The third chapter of variant words in Chinese is the subject of this study, the first two chapters of this chapters is that the theory and fact. Based on the previous two chapters, according to the relevant knowledge of linguistics, to find examples of ancient books and dialect, and then to make a study on the correlation of variant words, such as the definition of variant words, causes of the variant words, origin of the variant words and classification research etc.Finally, draw my own conclusions of the study. This study shown that:First, these so-called "variant words" modern Chinese word is not the problem of word, but the problem of the character, is the result of using different transcript of the same word. The same word for "different symbol", "different write" or "a large number of written forms", rather than "variant words". Second, the use of the article "variant words" definition, will not cause the ancient Chinese terminology confusion. Third, through the comparison of Chinese and foreign language morphological changes can be found there are a number of real variant words in ancient Chinese. Modern Chinese is a continuation of the ancient Chinese, and in modern Chinese language, especially in the dialect, there are also some variant words. In addition, some of the more traditional concept that no morphological changes of Chinese or less, according to the actual situation of the study of ancient Chinese, show that the variant words of ancient Chinese are similar to the morphological changes of the ancient India European languages the word formation.
