For foreign language learners, "the words" is a long-standing and problems has been plagued by many language learners. In the face of such syntactic problems we need to have both offer certain value and carries on the earnest discussion, including the in-depth understanding of "the words" errors can not only help us is very good to learn Chinese but also deepen the understanding of foreign cultural knowledge.This kind of linguistic study is very important and very serious. Understanding grammar errors helps us to study foreign languages and to know what the other language has that our native language does not have. When studying a foreign language, although most of the time spoken language ability and semantic ability progresses, the meaning behind the language is not entirely acquired. What this means is that we have errors, yet we do not realize that those errors exist. Grammar errors are the most common mistakes made. I, myself, am one of the many native speakers of English that is studying Mandarin Chinese. When we English speakers are studying the Mandarin language, we find that the grammar errors that exist during our studies are interesting. Every serious student studying Mandarin wants to improve their levels. Therefore, the amount of errors should be minimalized in the teaching of this language as within any other language acquisition. Furthermore, obviously grammar is one of the fundamentals of teaching a language. However, this dissertation’s main focus includes the language acquisition category. First, the analysis is a comparison between my mother language and my target language. It is to say that this is a study of what the mother language does not have that the target language has, and the resemblance of the two languages. As stated above, my mother language is English, and target language is Mandarin. This is a contrastive analysis of English and Mandarin.The first chapter is a brief introduction of nomastic as a science, which presents the research settings, its content, and methods.The second chapter is dedicated to the linguistic and cultural analysis of foreigner speakers learning the "把" sentence structure and the types of errors that occur.The third chapter presents the linguistic analysis of the " 把 structures and it’s influence the acquisition of learning Mandarin. It also focuses on some of the main contrasts between the two languages and the errors made when learning such structure.The fourth chapter is a comparative research on linguistic on grammatical sentence structures between English and Mandarin. It also focuses on the main characteristics of each language structures, and then ties in on how these two different structural peculiarities conflict. This chapter also takes a look at how the conflict between the two languages causes what is known as "Mother language/Native language interference.’ The final part of this chapter focuses on common sentence structure errors that English speakers make during the Mandarin acquisition process. Furthermore, it focuses on how this problem can be corrected whether by teaching methods or study methods.The fifth and final chapter is a summary of the main thesis points.
