Research On Liangzhu Culture And Related Issues In The Northern Area Of Taihu Lake

The discussion of local types is one of the important contents of Liangzhu culture research.Affected by its special geographical location and cultural traditions in the northern part of Taihu Lake,Liangzhu's cultural aspect is somewhat different from other areas in Taihu Lake.At present,there are little research on Liangzhu culture in the northern part of Taihu Lake in the academic circles.This thesis maily focuses on Changshu Luodun site,Wuxi Qiuchengdun site,Jiangyin Gaochengdun site,and Changzhou Sidun site as the main research objects of this paper.Based on previous studies and combined with recent unearthed archaeological data,Liangzhu Culture in the northern part of Taihu Lake is analyzed and illustrated so that a relatively comprehensive and systematic framework can be established.This thesis is mainly divided into five parts:At the beginning,in terms of introduction,it defines the time and space of the Liangzhu Culture in the northern part of Taihu Lake at first,and introduces related research results and the purpose,method and content of this thesis.The first chapter summarizes the ecological environment in the northern part of Taihu Lake and the production economy of the region during the Liangzhu Culture period.The second chapter starts from the three perspectives of pottery,jade,and the symbols on the pottery of the typical sites in the northern part of Taihu Lake.Through the analysis of archaeological typology,it is concluded that the pottery of the Liangzhu culture in the northern part of Taihu Lake may have added more northern parts.Cultural factors,jade retains some cultural factors of Songze.Chapter three analyzes the Gaotai cemetery and sacrificial relics of the Liangzhu Culture typical site in the northern part of Taihu Lake,and concludes that there are burial customs such as jade burial,ruined vessel burial,and cinnabar burial in the Gaotai cemetery.The sacrificial methods of each altar are different,Chidun site,Qiuchengdun site,Gaochengdun site,and Sidun site may all have singeing sacrifices,and the altarpiece of Sidun's centripetal design is also unique.The fourth chapter explores the uniqueness of the connotation of Liangzhu culture in this area and tries to explain the reasons for the formation of this particularity through comparative research with typical sites in other areas of Liangzhu Culture.Chapter five,on the basis of the previous research,discusses the influence of the special funeral customs of Liangzhu Culture in the northern part of Taihu Lake on later generations and the significance of the northern part of Taihu Lake for the spread of Liangzhu Culture to the north.
