"Xiqing Xujian" is one of the "Xiqing Sijian" in the Qing Dynasty. It was compiled by Wang Jie and others according to the order.Due to the different places where the bronzes were collected,it can be divided into two parts: Part A and part B,with 20 volumes each.Part a also has an appendix. Both series a and B were compiled in 1751 and completed in 1793.975 pieces of Zhongding Yi instruments, including 46 musical instruments, are included in Xiqing xujianjiabian.Volume 16,Volume 17 and Volume 18 respectively include 1 Han fou,28 bronze bells(26 Zhou bells and 2 Han bells),5 Duo(2 Zhou duo and 3 Han duo),3 Han bells,1 Han Gong,3 Nao(2 Zhou Nao and 1 Han NAO),4 Han bronze drums, and 2 musical instruments. There are 900 pieces of Zhongding and Yi instruments in the book, including 28 musical instruments. In Volume 17 and Volume 18,there are 2 Han fou,16 bronze bells(13 Zhou bells and 3 Han bells),3Zhou duo,1 Han bell,1 Han Nao and 5 Han bronze drums.A total of 54 musical instruments are included in series a and B.This paper mainly analyzes the patterns and patterns of 43 bronze clocks and 8duo recorded in part a and part B of Xiqing Xujian by Mr.Li Chunyi's "a comprehensive review of ancient Chinese unearthed musical instruments".According to the Qing Dynasty dimensions of each bell and duo recorded in the book, this paper converts them into today's measurement and classifies them with the research methods of bronze clocks in contemporary archaeology To explore the value of cultural relics recorded in the book from a modern perspective.Through the analysis of the musical instruments in part a and part B of Xiqing Xujian and the comparison with the great collection of Chinese musical relics,it is found that some of the musical instruments included in the book still exist, leaving a very precious "paper material" for us to study the history of ancient Chinese music.Although there are many deficiencies in the style map and the historical records of the Western Qing Dynasty, there are also many deficiencies. For example,he did not give a detailed introduction to the appearance and decoration of the utensils;the dating of the utensils was also very general and vague;the level of the inscriptions on the utensils was also low.Xiqing Xujian is one of the most important works in Chinese epigraphy. It not only provides a lot of historical materials for the study of epigraphy in Qing Dynasty, but also provides valuable "paper materials" for the study of Chinese music history and music archaeology.
