Poetic Representation: A Study Of The Style And Creation Of Poetry Films

Poetic film is a type of film created with the thought of "poetry",and poems written in the form of images.As the core essence of poetic film,"poeticity" is the symbol of the distinction and identification of poetic film.The focus of poetic film creation is to present "poeticity" through narration and image.This paper explores the stylistic classification,text creation strategies and expressive characteristics of poetic film in the presentation of poeticity,constructs a systematic interpretive framework for the style of poetic film,and explores the aesthetic characteristics and creative direction of poetic film.Poetic film forms the stylistic connotation from four dimensions: containing poetic wisdom and philosophical thought,expressing subjective truth,emotional poetic feelings,and poetic image aesthetics.The construction of the poetic text of the poetic film,including the non-dramatic characteristics of the narrative,the unique perspective of occurrence,the poetic narrative structure,and the metaphorical narrative.The poetic expression of poetic films in images includes psychologically filtered images,the extreme long shots,and the two-way extension of colors.The short film "Wander Home" practiced the creative strategies of poetic narrative,including fragmented and internalized non-dramatic narrative,"poet's mentality" from the perspective of the protagonist,multiple narrative structures,and humanistic care under social metaphors.And it practiced the creative methods of poetic images,including psychological and imagery images,motion and static long shots,natural tones and emotional colors.
