Wang Chong's Inheritance And Innovative Research On Zhong Yao Xiaokai

Wang Chong and Zhong You,as outstanding calligraphers of their respective times,were pursuing ancient and far-reaching composition and brushwork,and had similar artistic values.Both of them advocated the spirit of individuality,pursue liberation,be good at breaking through the old norm,infiltrate individuality into the writing in block letters,and realized the artistic realm of "both spirit and flesh,form and spirit".Currently,there is no relevant literature which discussed and analyzed the association between Zhong You and Wang Chong.Meanwhile,the literature lack a combination of microscopic and macroscopic.This paper directly studies the origin of Zhong You's small regular script calligraphy and its characteristics.And it analyzes the pen,structure,layout and artistic conception at length.Then,the paper investigates the influence of Zhong You's small regular script calligraphy on later calligraphers and its evolution.Combined with backgroundv of the later calligraphers,the text expounds they how to learn from Zhong You and to use it by varying degrees.Especially take Wang Chong for example,to study Wang Chong's techniques,inheritance and innovate by myself.Finally,the essay expresses my own thoughts in the creation.Choosing the key of techniques,I discuss what the relevance of two styles has inspired me to my creation.
