A Study Of The Division Of Labor Thought In Marx's "German Ideology"

The German Ideology plays an important role in the development of Marx's thought,among which the study of division of labor is the starting point for the birth of Marx's historical materialism.Therefore,the study of division of labor,a category with multiple attributes,is a bridge to further understand the transformation of Marx's thought.Starting from the study of Marx's classic text,this paper takes the attribute and development of division of labor itself as the breakthrough point to clarify its role in the development of society,especially in the development of capitalist society.Finally,through the analysis of Marx in the German Ideology has the special limitations and the later perfection of its own defects.It is the division of labor from the perspective of economics and philosophy,Marx formed a more systematic and perfect thought of division of labor.The study of Marx's thought of division of labor provides a new theoretical perspective for us to grasp the formation of historical materialism and Marx's initial criticism of capital.The thesis is based on Marx's classic works and discussed from three chapters.The first chapter mainly expounds the historical background and theoretical origin of Marx's theory of division of labor.Under the realistic social background,Marx gradually started his own division of labor thought through the study of the theory of division of labor contained in classical economic theory and utopian socialism,and obtained preliminary theoretical results,which laid a foundation for the transformation of Marx's thought.The second chapter mainly expounds Marx's systematic thought of division of labor in The German Ideology.Starting from the history of reality,Marx clarified the natural and spontaneous formation of division of labor.Based on the analysis of the multiple attributes of division of labor,this paper expounds the relationship and function of division of labor with productive forces and communication forms,and on this basis,it reveals the criticism of capitalism based on division of labor,and conceives the future of division of labor,and holds that eliminating the division of labor with servility is the prerequisite for realizing the free and comprehensive development of human beings.The third chapter mainly discusses the limitation and self-transcendence of Marx's thought of division of labor in The German Ideology.Marx's research on the idea of division of labor laid a theoretical foundation for the formation of historical materialism,but in this period Marx's application of the category of division of labor still has certain limitations,failed to get out of the "universal division of labor" as Smith's vicious circle.With the deepening of the study of political economy theory,Marx was able to jump out of his own limitations and finally formed a scientific ideological system of division of labor.In general,the study of Marx's thought of division of labor not only helps us to deeply understand the formation and development of Marxist philosophy,but also enriches the theoretical system of Marxist philosophy.
