As the relations between China and Russia continue to develop at a high level, the cultural exchanges between the two countries are becoming more and more prosperous.Among them, the five thousand years of Chinese civilization and wisdom, thought and ritual system are not only regarded as treasures by the Chinese people, but also attract many overseas scholars, and provide them with rich, profound and valuable research.material and produced fruitful research results. In particular,Russian Sinology research is unique in the world and has made a special contribution to the dissemination of Chinese culture.Georgievsky's work "Principles of Chinese Life" is a Sinology work that describes the cultural life and social phenomena of ancient China. This translation report is selected from the seventh chapter "Philosophy's Destruction of Faith and Principles of Ancient Life" and the eighth chapter "Confucianism and Confucius".These two chapters mainly discuss the philosophical thought represented by Laozi and the Confucianism represented by Confucius. The arguments are sufficient and reflect the author's research and thinking. This book has the characteristics of scientific stylistic accuracy, logic and objectivity. The original author quoted many example sentences, allusions and character dialogues in ancient Chinese classics in the text. Therefore, under the guidance of the principles of back translation and accuracy,we read the relevant books, and put the cultural phenomena or things with ancient Chinese characteristics. The precise translation of words and sentences is the focus of this translation. The feature of this translation is the translation of the example sentences quoted by the author from ancient Chinese classics. We not only translate them literally to preserve the author's understanding of these example sentences, but also note in the footnotes that they are translated back into Chinese classical Chinese. The translation difficulty of this article lies in the use of translation methods. In order to make the translated text more in line with the Chinese expression habits, starting from the reader's reading experience,we use different translation techniques according to the context when translating different types of sentences, such as word concretization, addition translation, subtraction translation,Change sentence components.Among them,a more detailed description of the use of the Chinese four-character lattice is carried out,and the situation of using the four-character lattice is described from the level of words, phrases and sentences. In short,in order to enable readers to read and understand the original author's thoughts smoothly, the translator adheres to the above translation principles and uses appropriate translation techniques.Adhering to the principles of translation and using appropriate translation methods is ultimately for the readers to read and understand the ideas that the original author wants to express.Chinese culture has a long history, extensive and profound, and many outstanding achievements have been produced under the research of foreign sinologists. We hope that through the translation of "Principles of Chinese People's Life",a book on sinology,on the one hand,we can truly apply translation methods and techniques to translation practice, and gain inspiration and experience;on the other hand,we can also enable readers to understand from a new perspective.China, open your mind.
