In November 2011,then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton published the American Pacific Century in the US Foreign Policy magazine,high-profilely announcing the US "return to the Asia-Pacific ".Since the term "return to Asia-Pacific" is easily ambiguous,it is questioned "when did the United States leave Asia-Pacific ?" So,in order to avoid unnecessary controversy, the United States formally amended the term "return to Asia-Pacific" to "Asia-Pacific rebalancing ".The "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy" of the United States is a major regional strategic adjustment implemented after the Obama administration took office, which has had a significant impact on all countries in the Asia-Pacific region.America's implementation of the "Asia-Pacific rebalancing strategy" has also had a significant impact on the foreign policy and foreign relations of Australia —— the important ally of the United States in the Asia-Pacific region. In particular,Australia's China policy and relations with China have a significant impact.Australia,as a traditional ally of the United States, has also actively cooperated with the United States in the process of implementing the "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy" by the Obama Administration of the United States, and has constantly adjusted its foreign policy and foreign relations, especially to China and China,in the light of its national interests.Combined with the specific content of the Obama administration's "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy ",this paper examines the process of adjusting Australia's policy towards China and the new changes in Sino-Australian relations under the background of the Obama administration's implementation of the " Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy ".Under the background of the implementation of the "Asia-Pacific rebalancing strategy" in the United States, although Australia's policy towards China has been affected by the strategic adjustment of the United States, there have been some negative changes, but it has not fundamentally shaken the "comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Australia ",andSino-Australian friendship has always occupied the leading position in the relationship between the two countries. The process of adjusting Australia's policies and relations with China under the background of the "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing Strategy" of the United States shows that the study of bilateral relations and foreign in the international community and a country's foreign policy should comprehensively examine a country's national interests and the specific international environment in which the country is located in order to accurately grasp the direction of a country's foreign policy and foreign relations.
