Research On Xunzi's Ethnic Thought

Thought is the product of an era,national thought is the one aspect of thought While in ancient China has no sense of the national concept today,but for the then national phenomenon and ethnic relations discussions never fade from historical stage The spring and autumn period and the warring states period is an age of views,the phenomenon of ethnic and national relationship of thinking and also the standing On the eve of the unified,as a comprehensive expression of thought and their exponents Xuncius view of national relations and national phenomenon at that time is worth today's scholars pay attention to in this paper,the study of national thought mainly includes four parts.The first part,the introduction,mainly from the research significance,concept definition,previous research status,research methods,as well as the research innovation and shortcomings of the formal study of the full text to pave the way.The second part,the first chapter of the paper,mainly studies the origin of Xunzi's national thought.There are three main sources of his thought.Second,the background of The Times,especially the ethnic relations;The third is the inheritance of our predecessors' national thoughts.It lays the foundation for grasping the kernel of Xunzi's national thought as a whole.In addition,the Xunzi,his book is also very important textual research,this paper also carries on a simple comb.The third part,the second chapter of the thesis,mainly studies the core of Xunzi's national thought,from the ideological basis of his ideological system,according to the cognition method of Xunzi,from the universe to the human nature,and finally to the national phenomenon.Based on the understanding of the ethnic phenomenon at that time and the view of ethnic relations,Xunzi put forward his own series of propositions,condensed into the core of the four ethnic thoughts.Because the ancients did not have the concept of nationality,we should pay special attention to the interpretation of the original text in this part of the study,and strive to fit the meaning of the text.The fourth part,the thesis of the third chapter,first to overall evaluate the national ideology of xun zi and xun zi's national thought is beyond the prospective and advancement of the era,and at the same time are constrained by the era has certain limitations,the dialectical analysis of the national ideology of xunzi to as much as possible,gives relevant evaluation to the national ideology of xunzi.And study its influence on the later generations,especially the influence on the ethnic policy of ancient China and find out its essence so as to enrich and expand the content of the ethnic theory and use for reference in the contemporary ethnic work,so as to serve the past for the present,on the shoulders of the ancient people,under the projection of history,out of the style of the new era.
