A Group Practice Study On The Improvement Of The Ability Of The Elderly To Use Smartphones From The Perspective Of Active Aging

For years,China witnessed an increasingly severe aging,meanwhile,with the development of network informatization,smart phone has been integrated into daily life,gradually,which brings great convenience.Yet,elders with lower capacity to accept new things are unable to enjoy the benefits of the intelligent society.To realize active aging and provide a boost to their happiness,we must assist elders to learn to use smart phone.This research surveyed and analyzed elder group of Community W to clarify elders' willingness of leaning smart phone.By this research,we discovered that elders in Community W have some problem in basic functions of smart phone,usage of Wechat and other apps and awareness of smart phone fraud.Thus,based on that,we need to enrich elders' knowledge of smart phone as well as enhance their capacity of using smart phone On the basis of our survey and analysis,by social learning theory and active aging theory,an elders smart phone study group service,consisting of seven activities,has been launched to help elders to use smart phone and better their ability of social participation.During the preparation period,researchers screen and recruit members according to their willingness of learning smart phone using.By evaluating their demand,the group goal has been decided thus group plan has been made,accordingly.Upon the early stage,researchers guided the members to know each others and study the basic operation of smart phone;Then,the middle stage,researchers guided the members to help each other and learn the social function of Wechat;At last,the final stage,researchers shared information discrimination and started anti-fraud,then reviewed the activities and consolidated what we had learned.Evaluation stage is processed mainly by members' degree of satisfaction and the accomplishment of our goal.Initiating the research of elders smart phone study group is to increase elders' competence to using smart phone and better integrate themselves into informationalized society,furthermore,to promote their social participation and propel active aging.Nevertheless,researchers noticed that activities should be detailed and more attention should be attached to sense of ceremony in accordance with target group.
