A Study On The Historical Experience Of The Tanzanian Revolutionary Party's Self-construction

As a big party,the Tanzania revolutionary party has being in power for a long period and has accomplished many historical tasks since it came into power,such as the state independence and unification,national identity structuring,political system and development route transformation.As for a political party who lead Tanzania for over 30 years in a non-competitive environment,the CCM has not only managed to finish its transformation,but also keep its leading position till now for over 60 years through multi-party competition,it is really a miracle in the violent Africa! But what the CCM has achieved cannot separate with its consecutive self-building,which makes the Tanzanian revolutionary party stronger and more competitive.The historical experience of the CCM self-building including three aspects totally,the first one is that the CCM insists the principle that people is the utmost,and the CCM makes its party-people relationship into a well situation based on this principle;the second one is that the CCM’s intra-democracy building enhanced the democracy of the its administration and its political competitive.The final one is that the CCM tried its every endeavor to update its governance ability,which improved its competitive consequently.All three aspects consolidate the legitimacy of the CCM’s administration,which is the fundamental reason why the CCM can keep its leading position for such long history.
