Research On The Practice Path Of The Principle Of Democratic Centralism Of The Communist Party Of China From The Perspective Of Long-term Governance Capacity Building

During the early revolution and later socialist construction,the Communist Party of China(CPC),based on the theoretical discussion of democratic centralism by Marx,Engels and Lenin,and taking into account the domestic situation and lessons learned in the process of party construction,concluded the theory of democratic centralism with Chinese characteristics,which has played an important role in regulating the party's internal life and guiding the political practice of the country during its more than seventy years of long-term rule.Since the cause of the Party and the people has entered a new era,the country is at a new stage of development,and the governing environment at home and abroad,as well as the situation within the Party,have changed to a certain extent.In response to the new situation in the Party,the Party Central Committee has promoted the great project of comprehensive strict governance of the Party.In the face of the complex domestic environment and the changing world situation,the Party Central Committee has also raised the important issue of "longterm governance" in order to consolidate the ruling position and realize the great Chinese dream.If the CPC wants to achieve the political goal of long-term rule,it must start with the construction of the Party itself.How to prove that democratic centralism is the greatest institutional advantage of our country,how to strengthen the Party's own construction,maintain the Party's own advancement and purity,and improve the Party's long-term governing ability are all difficult problems that the CPC needs to overcome at present.Examining the shortcomings of the current democratic centralism system from the perspective of improving long-term governing ability can provide a new perspective for research and strengthen the link between achieving long-term governing and improving democratic centralism in the new era.This paper analyzes the problems in the implementation of democratic centralism in the new era from the perspective of building the long-term governing capacity of the Communist Party of China in the new era;on this basis,it considers and explores the path of how to insist on implementing and improving democratic centralism so as to effectively strengthen the long-term governing capacity of the Party.The discussion starts with a review of relevant concepts and theories,focusing on governing capacity and democratic centralism and their related concepts,clarifying the object of study and its related concepts,and clarifying the theoretical development.Secondly,on the basis of reviewing the practical history of democratic centralism in the ruling process of the Communist Party of China,it summarizes the experiences and shortcomings from the practical history,so as to provide historical reference for improving the principle of democratic centralism at present.Finally,it examines the shortcomings of the current democratic centralism system from the perspective of improving the Party's long-term governing ability in the new era,and constructs a unique path to improve the democratic centralism system by taking the specific aspects of improving long-term governing ability as the entry point,so as to give full play to the role of democratic centralism as an institutional guarantee for achieving the Party's long-term governing goal.Through the above research,the conclusion of this thesis is drawn: insisting on implementing and perfecting democratic centralism plays an important role in guaranteeing the CPC's goal of long-term governance.By insisting on the implementation and continuous improvement of democratic centralism,allowing all Party members to study the theory of democratic centralism and grasp its connotation scientifically and accurately,focusing on both democracy and centralism,and improving the internal regulations and systems of democratic centralism,the Party's learning ability,value-led ability,overall centralized leadership ability and rule of law ability and other elements of long-term governing ability have been improved as a whole,laying a reliable foundation for the realization of the Party's long-term governing goal.
