Research On Urban Traffic Congestion Control From The Perspective Of Public Management

Urban Transport is the link connecting the entire city,which is really colse to citizens' daily life.With the rapid development of urbanization and modernization,motor vehicle population grows quickly and traffic jams become more and more serious,which restrict sustainable economic and social development.One side,people are going through with the socail economic development and people's income keep improving,the volume of motor vehicle population increases rapidly.Another side,Public transport has been recognized as the main way to solve the urban traffic congestion by government.In spite of establishing the priority policy of public transport and proposed the “Public transport first” strategy.However,the rapid growth of urban public transport can't really meet citizen's demand's for urban transport and fall behind than the quick development of private transport,compared with other big cities in our country.In the paper,the writer analyzes the current status of urban transport problems.Also based on the currentt traffic status of Shantou city central,combining with relevant professional literature.The author also analyzes the policy measures that Shantou government release to easy the traffic pressure,sorting the source of traffic jam.The author put forward countermeasures on the perspective of public management,which expanding way of city traffic management and providing govern way for government.
