The digital revolution is ushering in a data-driven era with algorithm as the core.The maturity of digital technology endows enterprises with the ability of fine tracking consumer data to provide personalized goods and services.As a typical manifestation of algorithmic consumer price discrimination,big data maturity damages the interests of some consumers with high willingness to pay,but it is difficult to draw scientific conclusions based on a single scenario.As a common economic phenomenon and business strategy,algorithmic consumer price discrimination is also beneficial to the price sensitive low-end consumer groups.Simply banning algorithmic consumer price discrimination may be a net loss for consumers,and may miss the major development opportunities brought by the era of big data.For the regulation of algorithmic consumer price discrimination,we should focus on the freedom of competition,analyze whether the behavior excludes and restricts market competition;promote the establishment of algorithmic power tools,limit the range of data collected by the algorithm,ensure the neutrality of the algorithm,and make personalized disclosure of the algorithm;pay attention to the role of market solution mechanism in algorithmic consumer price discrimination We should actively explore the new path of consumer protection extended by algorithmic consumer price discrimination;innovation plays an important role in competition and consumer protection,and we should encourage enterprises to " competition on the merits " under the legal boundary established by the regulatory framework,so as to leave room for development of market competition in the digital era.
