A Study On Juvenile Delinquency In A City, Shandong Province

As the hope of family,society and country,minors carry countless expectations in every step of their growth and development.Juvenile delinquency has always been a hot issue of great concern to all sectors of society.For minors,they lack the judgment of right and wrong.The large amount of information in foreign culture makes them difficult to distinguish between good and bad.They are extremely vulnerable to the influence of individualism,money worship and other bad cultures,and their values are distorted,and then they go up.The road to crime.Although the rate of juvenile crime in my country has declined,the overall situation is still not optimistic.Especially the vicious juvenile crimes that occasionally ignite public opinion have aroused widespread discussion in society and academia.my country's latest "Criminal Law Amendment" has lowered the legal minimum age of criminal responsibility,which will be at least 12 years old.This shows that the situation of juvenile delinquency in our country is still severe.The author used the conditions of an internship in the People's Court of a city in Shandong Province to obtain complete information on juvenile crimes in the city from2005 to 2019 by participating in court trials,organizing file data,and conducting on-site interviews,and further used statistical analysis software for classification analysis Afterwards,five types of crime characteristics including the overall development trend,subject characteristics,subjective characteristics,objective characteristics and judicial characteristics of juvenile crimes are obtained.This article combines the characteristics of juvenile crime in the city,and focuses on the control theory in criminology,supplemented by other criminology theories to complete the writing of the cause of crime in this article,and believes that the current juvenile crimes in this city are mainly caused by personal,social and judicial reasons.This is because minors have low self-control ability,weak links between individuals and society,and insufficient punishment mechanisms.Finally,combined with the current development status of the city,this article puts forward specific suggestions on the prevention and control of juvenile crimes in the city.This article believes that the city should give full play to its traditional cultural advantages,help minors to shape correct values,improve their behavioral cognition and control ability;improve the quality of parents,strengthen communication with members,relieve work pressure,and create a warm growth environment;establish Unicom to run schools The mechanism and the "three-level hierarchical" communication mechanism enhance the school's ability to control minors;give full play to community functions to enhance the government's management of high crime sites and "potential offenders";clarify the subject of pre-trial investigation responsibility,and appropriately increase prohibitions The application of the order,realize the diversification,specialization and socialization of correction projects,and standardize the punishment mechanism for minors.
