Casework Practice Research On Social Adaptation Of Minors In Community Corrections

With the continuous improvement of social development and social governance level,community correction,as a non custodial penalty,plays an important role in reducing the rate of recidivism and maintaining social order.Community correction for eligible criminals according to law is conducive to their social integration under the condition of socialization.At this stage,juvenile delinquency tends to be younger.Community correction of juvenile delinquents is conducive to resolving negative factors and easing social contradictions.However,there are a series of social adaptation problems and obstacles in the process of receiving community correction.This study takes the juvenile community correction object in J district as an example,through understanding the basic situation of the correction object and the current situation of correction,aiming at the development At present,there are social adaptation obstacles in the minor community correction objects.At the same time,a typical underage community correction object in the process of accepting community correction encountered social adaptation barriers to intervention research,using case work professional method,with social support theory and empowerment theory as the theoretical support,using interviews and observation methods to collect data,explore the causes of social adaptation barriers,through the development of targeted case services,help It can help the clients to relieve their negative emotions,correct their deviant behaviors and cognition,improve their sense of self-worth,restore and rebuild their social support system,and improve their experience and skills,so as to promote the minors to solve the social adaptation barriers and realize social integration.The results show that there are social adaptation barriers in the minor community correction objects,which affect the effect of community correction;there is a large service space for social work to intervene in the social adaptation barriers of the minor community correction objects;the social support network plays a prominent role in improving the social adaptation barriers of the minor community correction objects.Finally,the paper affirms the role of social work professional methods in the process of solving the social adaptation obstacles of minor community correction objects,and puts forward suggestions on the basis of this research,so as to better help minor community correction objects to achieve social adaptation smoothly.
