In recent years,the after-school training industry has been in full swing.Facing the learning problems of primary and middle school students,in-school teaching seems to be unable to meet the learning requirements of parents of students.It has become a common phenomenon to continuously increase various after-school training courses.Professional after-school training institutions can play a very good role in consolidating students' after-school knowledge,fostering learning interests,and improving overall quality,and they have won the favor of parents.However,driven by huge market interests,some after-school training institutions over-emphasize the benefits of afterschool training to themselves,and there is a serious imbalance between utilitarianism and public welfare.Problems such as over-range teaching,advanced teaching,and examination-oriented strengthening still exist.Substandard after-school training institutions not only disrupt the market order,but also fail to achieve the purpose of providing correct education to young students.In the long run,they will inevitably bring hidden dangers to the stability and order of the industry and even the society.Therefore,government supervision is indispensable for the formation of norms and healthy and sustainable development of the after-school training industry.The government lacks relevant rules and regulations at the supervision level of after-school training institutions,making it difficult to implement the actual supervision process.It is common for the target object of supervision to be not specific enough,the process of supervision is not deep enough,and the boundary of supervision is not clear enough.This paper takes the government supervision of after-school training institutions in Nanjing as the research object.On the basis of consulting relevant materials,the operation status of after-school training institutions and government supervision are investigated.Through the research,it is found that the government is in the process of supervision of after-school training institutions.The following problems exist: the qualification review of after-school training institutions is not strict;the supervision of the teaching process of after-school training institutions is limited;the supervision of orderly competition in the market of after-school training institutions is insufficient;the operation safety supervision of after-school training institutions is not in place.The reasons are not only objective reasons such as loopholes in rules and regulations,chaos in the market competition environment,and lack of regulatory information,but also subjective factors such as inadequate government regulation,low regulatory efficiency,and backward consciousness and concepts.While investigating the state of government supervision,in order to effectively promote the benign and healthy development of the after-school training industry,and to establish a sound after-school training and education system for primary and secondary school students,this article has an in-depth discussion on the path of government supervision of after-school training institutions in Nanjing,such as the soundness of laws and regulations And perfection,the joint efforts of regulatory functions,the establishment and maintenance of market competition order,and the use of the advantages of information technology platforms for joint management.Through the research on the government supervision of training institutions outside the primary and secondary schools in Nanjing,we can provide reasonable and feasible government supervision countermeasures for the current booming training industry.Scientific and effective supervision measures,on the one hand,play a good role in promoting the effective distribution and full utilization of educational resources at the primary and secondary levels;on the other hand,they also promote the standardized development of training institutions outside of primary and secondary schools,thereby creating a good market environment.
