In order to fulfill the fundamental task of cultivating talents,the ministry of education first proposed key competence in 2014.Then,how to promote the achievement of key competence and how to implement key competence into specific subject teaching become the core of basic education teaching reform.In the process of deepening the reform,compared with the traditional class hour teaching,unit teaching pays more attention to the integrity and connection of content and process,and can organically integrate and implement the elements of key competence into teaching,which has attracted extensive attention from scholars and front-line teachers at home and abroad.In the discipline of biology,the life concept of the key competence focuses on the understanding of life.Life is a multi-level complex system,and it is a unity composed of material,energy and information,in which material is the carrier of information,energy provides the driving force,and information is the core essential characteristic of life.However,traditional concepts focus on understanding life from the perspective of material and energy,and lack of understanding of information concept.Therefore,this research takes information idea as the entry point to study how to use unit teaching design to help students construct a complete information idea.this research defines the relevant concepts with literature research method,and analyzes the research status of unit teaching design and life concept teaching at home and abroad,so as to lay a theoretical foundation for the follow-up research.And discusses the concept of information idea with text analysis method,and puts forward the connotation of information idea based on the philosophy of life science,curriculum content system and the development of students.The concept graph of high school biology information idea and the formation path graph of "general concept and important concept and big concept to information idea"were formed by sorting out the concepts,and the internal logical connection of unit content was deeply excavated to form the unit structure framework.After determining the general direction of unit teaching objectives,the unit teaching objectives are refined to class hour teaching objectives,and the class hour teaching objectives are gradually and interrelated.Based on these,the case study and analysis of unit instructional design based on the principles of biological facts and concepts,situation and concept blending are completed.This research proposes the connotation of information idea,constructs the concept graph and unit structure framework in senior high school biology,designs a complete example of unit teaching design of information idea,and provides a reference for front-line teachers to help students construct information idea systematically and comprehensively.
