Because classical Chinese poetry’s quality and beauty are integral to China’s distinctive traditional culture,the government has dramatically added ancient poetry to primary school Chinese textbooks to attach great importance to the inheritance of traditional culture.Therefore,how to teach ancient poetry well to make pupils like it has become an essential challenge in primary school Chinese teaching.However,there are some problems in ancient poetry teaching,such as scattered disorder in textbook arrangement,incomplete and complicated related knowledge,insufficient poetry reading practice during teaching,and difficulty understanding poetry.As a result,teaching ancient poetry has always been difficult in primary school Chinese teaching.Therefore,it is an urgent need t to design a complete learning scheme for teaching ancient poetry to guide the large unit concept.At the same time,the progress and development of science and technology also put forward the challenge and demand of "using multiple media to learn Chinese." To address this issue,the thesis constructs a framework of technology-supported teaching activities under the large unit concept.The framework is iteratively modified through three rounds of action research to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the teaching activities’ framework.The main research work and originalities of this thesis are as follows:Firstly,this thesis reconstructs the poetry unit based on the big unit concept.The thesis extracts the big idea of poetry that "poetry image is the key to approach the artistic conception of poetry" based on analyzing the curriculum standards,teaching content,and learning situation with systematic thinking to solve the problem of scattered and disorderly arranging ancient Chinese poetry caused knowledge fragment in primary school.Then,the thesis reorganizes the poetry lessons,writing exercises,and Chinese gardens in the third-grade primary school Chinese textbook.Secondly,this thesis constructs the teaching activity framework of technical support under the large unit concept.The literature review clarifies the elements and paths of teaching design in the large unit,as well as the elements of teaching activities and the relationship between each element.The framework of teaching activities is initially constructed from the starting point of teaching practice.Finally,the thesis modifies the framework of teaching activities by reflecting on three rounds of action research to verify the framework’s effectiveness.First,the specific sequence of poetry teaching activities is designed according to the framework of technology-supported teaching activities under the large unit concept.The teaching practice of ancient Chinese poetry in primary school is carried out in pilot school.The questionnaire,interview,classroom observation table,stage test questions,synchronous exercises,and other procedural data are collected and analyzed to reflect and modify the framework of teaching activities.The practice shows that the framework of teaching activity has specific feasibility and effectiveness.The student’s attitude towards poetry has changed positively,and their interest in learning ancient poetry has improved.Reading level,knowledge sorting,and poetry understanding ability has been significantly improved.In addition,teachers and students are delighted with the design of teaching activities supported by technology under the large unit concept.
