Chemistry Curriculum Standard for Senior High School(revised in 2020,2017edition)requires the comprehensive development of students’ core literacy in chemistry teaching,and highlights the leading role of big ideas.How to implement the requirements of curriculum standards and develop students’ core literacy is a topic of concern to educators and front-line chemistry teachers.The big idea reflects the essence of the subject,and has the characteristics of high generality and abstraction,which can help students construct a complete content system.At present,it is the most effective method to apply the big idea to the practical teaching with the unit teaching design as the carrier.Therefore,it is of certain significance to carry out the research on the unit teaching design of chemistry in senior high school based on the big idea.The contents of this study are as follows: First,theoretical research.Through literature review,this paper summarizes the literature about "big concept" and "unit teaching",understands their research status,and defines the concepts of "big concept" and "unit teaching design".Combined with the analysis of relevant educational theories,the significance of carrying out the research on unit teaching design based on big concepts is clarified.Second,process design.Combined with "ADDIE" model,the design process of unit teaching based on big concept is designed.Third,case design.Taking the unit "Chemical Reaction and Electric Energy" as an example,the teaching design of the unit "Chemical Reaction and Electric Energy" based on the big concept was carried out.In the process of unit teaching design,the digital experiment of primary battery and electrolytic cell is designed by hand-held technology,and the project-based learning activity of "understanding lithium-ion battery" is carried out to help students form the chemical concept that "chemical energy and electric energy can be transformed into each other".Fourthly,practical research.After the implementation of unit teaching,spss20.0 was used to analyze the results of students’ standardized tests and combined with teacher interviews to test the practical effect.The conclusions are as follows: First,the hierarchical relationship among basic knowledge,basic concepts,key concepts and big concepts is clarified.Secondly,the process of chemistry unit teaching in senior high school based on big concepts is determined as follows: determining teaching units,refining big concepts of units-analyzing teaching elements,determining unit teaching objectives-organizing teaching content,designing unit teaching process-implementing teaching evaluation and reflecting on unit teaching process.Thirdly,from three aspects of knowledge,thinking and accomplishment,the teaching content system of "chemical reaction and electric energy" unit under the guidance of big concepts is constructed.
