With the in-depth advancement of China's quality education reform and the high attention paid to sports dance by all walks of life,sports dance has gradually entered the campus of primary and secondary schools.The teaching of sports dance courses is of great significance for improving the physical fitness and mental health of middle school students.The choice of teaching content of sports dance courses will directly affect students' understanding and mastering of sports dance skills,so the importance of exploring its teaching content is particularly obvious.The study takes the teaching content of the sports dance course of the "City Palace Project" of Xicheng District Middle School in Beijing as the research object.It mainly uses the literature method,interview method,questionnaire survey method,Delphi method,field investigation method,and mathematical statistics method.The physical and mental development laws,artistic and technical characteristics of sports dance,systematically and comprehensively analyze the teaching content of the "City Palace Plan" sports dance course in Xicheng District Middle School in Beijing to build a "City Palace Plan" sports suitable for middle school students The teaching content of the dance course further enriches and perfects the theoretical system of the teaching content of the sports dance course of the "City Palace Project" in middle schools,and provides a theoretical reference for the sports dance teaching in China's primary and secondary schools.The study draws the following conclusions:1.Most of the teaching environment(site and equipment)of the sports dance course in the "City Palace Project" of Xicheng District Middle School in Beijing can meet the basic teaching of sports dance.The total length of the Xicheng District Middle School “City Palace Project” sports and dance course is one academic year(two semesters).The total academic hours of the eight school academic years are 24 hours,and the total academic hours of the other two school academic years are 28 and48 academic hours,respectively.At present,7 schools use professional sports dance teaching materials for teaching,and 3 schools lack sports dance development teaching materials.Most of the lessons are developed by the teachers themselves.2.In the "City Palace Project" sports dance course of Xicheng District Middle School in Beijing,Latin dance is the main choice,and standard dance is the supplement.Among them,the dances with higher selection rate in Latin dance are rumba and chacha,and the dances with higher selection rate in standard dance are waltz and tango.In the teaching process,the venue and equipment facilities have restricted and influenced the teaching of sports dance courses;the distribution of hours for sports dance courses is not reasonable;some teaching contents in teaching are not complete enough and other issues need to be optimized and resolved.3.An index system for the teaching content of Latin dance and standard dance in the "City Palace Project" sports dance course of Xicheng District Middle School in Beijing has been established.Latin dance includes two types of dance: rumba and chacha,and standard dance includes two types of dance: waltz and tango.The Latin dance teaching content index system includes 4 first-level indicators,11 second-level indicators,and 49 third-level indicators;standard dance teaching content includes 4first-level indicators,10 second-level indicators,and 42 third-level indicators.According to the current arrangement of ten middle schools in Xicheng District,it is recommended that 24-28 hours of middle schools learn 2-3 dance types;48-hours middle schools learn 3-4 dance types,and the choice of specific dance types depends on the actual situation of the school.
