A new round of mathematics curriculum reform has broken the situation that one textbook monopolizes the market,and many versions of textbooks have appeared.How to make the choice?What are the characteristics and the defects of of each version?All the above are critical questions worth pondering by teachers.Pythagorean Theorem,a Bright Pearl in Mathematics,and Pythagorean theorem is an important theorem in geometry teaching.Its teaching and learning is also a barometer of mathematics education reform.This paper takes the Pythagorean Theorem in the "Suke Edition" and"People's Education Edition" junior high school mathematics teaching materials as the research object,by means of actual investigation,consulting materials,Case Analysis and comparative analysis,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the content and difficulty of the two textbooks.Dominant surface differences between the two versions which including variance of timing sequence,layout,example and exercises were studied in the first place with relevant conclusions of the arrange system's essence was the differences of deep factors of textbook which consists of textbook outlook,compiling concept plus knowledge function.Besides,based on the classroom teaching status quo of Pythagorean Theorem,this paper made a comparison on the practice of various editions teaching in classroom.And through teacher interviews and questionnaires to further understand the extent and views of front-line teachers on the use of teaching materials.At last,suggestions on the effective implementation of the mathematics classroom teaching have been put forward with the combination of the results of the study.
