With the introduction of "opinions on comprehensively deepening the curriculum reform and implementing the fundamental task of cultivating talents by virtue" by the Ministry of education in 2014,the curriculum reform in various provinces and universities has also been launched,in which the concept of core discipline quality is proposed,which is not only knowledge and skills,but also integrates emotions,attitudes or values.The core quality of geography discipline consists of four parts:regional cognition,comprehensive thinking,human land coordination and geographical practice.Through the study of regional cognitive literacy,we can not only investigate the level of local students' regional cognitive literacy,but also cultivate students' regional cognitive literacy and improve students' regional cognitive ability.Based on the research literature of regional cognitive research at home and abroad,and the guidance of recent development area theory,geographical core literacy theory,discovery teaching theory,constructivism learning theory and geographical teaching theory,and according to the experience of teaching practice in senior high school,I have investigated and analyzed the current situation of regional cognitive literacy ability of senior high school students and teachers by using the questionnaire survey method,and concluded the following conclusions:1.Problems in students' regional cognitive literacy:The degree of students' regional cognitive literacy is general;the basic knowledge is not solid;the ability of spatial positioning in students' regional cognition is deficient;the ability of students'geographic information processing in regional cognition is deficient;the ability of students' migration in geographic knowledge is weak;the ability of analyzing information is weak.2.Problems of teachers:The teaching methods adopted are single;the cognition of teachers on the core quality of geography is not enough to be improved;the influence of examination oriented education on Teachers' practice and theory is poor;the teaching activities designed according to the core quality of geography are lack.According to the existing problems of teachers and students,this paper puts forward the principles and Countermeasures of regional cognitive literacy training in high school.1.The training principles proposed are integrity principle,subjectivity principle,step by step principle,development principle and individualized teaching principle.According to the problems of teachers and students,this paper puts forward the regional cognitive training strategies from two aspects:teachers and students.1.In terms of students' learning:change the learning concept to form a correct learning orientation;strengthen the learning of basic knowledge to form a knowledge framework;strengthen the ability of information acquisition and comprehensive information analysis.2.In terms of teachers' teaching,we should change the concept of education and teaching,combine theory with practice;adopt diversified teaching methods to improve students' interest in learning;improve students' ability of knowledge transfer and application;sort out ideas and strengthen students' comprehensive thinking;and use multimedia technology and auxiliary teaching tools to Improve students' ability of spatial positioning.
