For a long time,ethnic regions in China have been affected by geography,transportation,culture,politics,economy,language,and other factors.The educational environment has its own characteristics,and students' mathematical thinking and ability development in ethnic regions also have local characteristics.With the acceleration of the modernization process,minority school education tends to "Sinify",and the government's efforts to promote educational fairness have also achieved certain results.Whether the status of mathematics education in ethnic areas is quietly changing is a question worthy of attention.The reasoning ability is the ability that best meets the social reality and the needs of students in the new era.Through investigation,we can understand the development status and characteristics of the reasoning ability of junior high school students in ethnic areas,or we can glimpse the reality of mathematics education in ethnic areas today.This article investigates the current situation of the development of sensible reasoning ability of junior middle school junior high school students in 4 junior middle schools in Dali Bai nationality area.The results show that:(1)The overall reasoning ability of junior high school students in ethnic areas is biased.Low;(2)The level of sensible reasoning ability of junior high school students in ethnic areas has been increased sequentially and gradually;(3)The inductive reasoning ability of junior high school students in ethnic areas is better than the analogy reasoning ability;(4)The reasoning ability of junior high school students in ethnic areas is significantly positively related to their math performance;(5)The reasoning ability of junior high school girls in ethnic areas is better than that of boys;(6)There is no significant difference in the reasoning ability of Bai,Hui and Yi junior high school students in ethnic areas.The reasoning ability of Han students in ethnic areas is weaker than that of Bai and Hui students;(7)The reasoning ability of junior middle school students in suburban schools in ethnic areas is better than that of mountain schools.At the same time,we investigated the teaching situation of reasonable reasoning among junior middle school mathematics teachers in the state,and the results showed that: Junior high school mathematics teachers in ethnic areas are more motivated to train students' reasonable reasoning ability in classroom teaching,but the understanding of reasonable reasoning is lacking,and the ability of reasonable reasoning as a whole is average.According to the current situation of the development of reasonable reasoning ability of junior high school students in ethnic areas,the following suggestions are made for teachers' teaching:(1)combining local culture to fully explore teaching materials;(2)optimizing classroom teaching design and infiltrating reasonable reasoning;Analog exercises,teaching problem-solving strategies.
