The mathematics curriculum standard for full-time compulsory education(experimental draft)issued by the Ministry of education in 2001 is the main basis for examining whether the mathematics academic level of junior middle school graduates meets the standard,and clearly writes "statistics and probability" into the curriculum standard requirements.After that,the newly issued mathematics curriculum standard for compulsory education(2017 Edition)in 2017 once again emphasizes "statistics and probability" as one of the four main lines of junior middle school mathematics curriculum content,It is juxtaposed with "number and Algebra","figure and geometry" and "synthesis and practice",and probability reasoning is particularly important as an essential mathematical ability in the section of mathematics probability and statistics in junior middle school.After the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee in 1978,the party and the state adopted many special policies and measures to support the development of ethnic education.It mainly includes the establishment of ethnic education administrative institutions and the convening of ethnic education work conferences,the strengthening of the construction of ethnic minority teachers,the implementation of targeted enrollment and so on.As an important part of China's education,the educational development of ethnic minority students is related to the main performance of educational equity.Ensuring and improving the educational quality of ethnic minority students is conducive to enhancing the cohesion and vitality of the Chinese nation.By combing the relevant literature on minority education and probability reasoning in junior middle schools at home and abroad,and drawing lessons from the probability reasoning test questions in the article "development of probabilistic understanding in seventh grade" by Jane M.Watson and other scholars,and sorting them into a questionnaire,the Han junior middle school students are taken as the control group based on the local situation through education internship,The students'reasoning ability of Lisu minority and Miao minority in the Middle School of Yunnan Province was investigated.Using spss26 and excel descriptive,difference and correlation statistics,it is found that the probability reasoning ability of ethnic minority junior middle school students is significantly lower than that of local Han junior middle school students.Sort out and rank the results of the questionnaire through solo stratification theory,and then select the lower six ethnic minority students for interview.This paper analyzes the reasons for the significant differences in their probability reasoning level from four dimensions:(1)students' self-efficacy,(2)native family environment,(3)educational environment resources,and(4)ethnic differences,This paper understands the reasons for the low learning level of probability reasoning of minority students in this area from four different aspects,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
