Research On Liu Guyu's Educational Thought

Liu guyu was born in tiange village,xianyang county,shaanxi province in 1843.That maketh straight Liu Guyu formerly known as liu Fen,word,and words chun tang,GuYu,send a new,old age to the present.Liu guyu,who was born in the hometown of "guan xue",was deeply influenced by guan's thoughts in his childhood.After seeing the invasion of western powers and the humiliating treaty signed by the qing government,he also advocated academic reform and education to save the country.He took education as his mission in his life,set up the school of seeking friends,established the school of contemporary affairs,taught taste classics,chongshi academy,and served in gansu university hall.During his tenure of office,he promoted western democracy and science and carried out curriculum reform.In addition to retaining traditional courses such as classics,history and Taoism,he opened new courses such as contemporary affairs,astronomy and geography.He not only paid attention to the teaching content,but also put forward in the teaching method"strict shame,hard work,observation,realistic,wide knowledge,music group" twelve word rules;In order to popularize education and develop the wisdom of the people,Mr.The educational thought and teaching practice of liu guyu left to later generations are very rich,which is of great enlightening significance to today's education.This paper tries to make further research on his educational thought and explore his enlightenment to today's education by collecting materials and sorting out the research results of predecessors.The paper is divided into five parts:Introduction:a general discussion of the origin of the topic,literature review,research methods,etc.The first part discusses the background of liu guyu's educational thoughts,including the social reality,the influence of shaanxi traditional guan xue thoughts,and the dissemination of western learning and reform thoughts.The second part:further collation and analysis of liu guyu's educational thoughts,including universal education,advanced women's education,children's education and educational policy.In the third part,the author analyzes the educational practice of liu guyu in setting up the study of seeking friends and creating the study of time affairs,teaching the taste of literature by hand and the practice of chongshi academy,and thinks about the characteristics of liu guyu in running a school.The fourth part:research on the characteristics of liu guyu's educational thought and educational practice,its advanced nature and limitations and the enlightenment and thinking brought to our current education.
