Emotional social development is an important part in the individual development.Likewise,one's emotional intelligence(EI)level is an important factor affecting his psychological health and social adaptability.Thus,cultivating adolescent EI in China has been paid more and more attention to by the government.High school period is the critical stage in the adolescence EI development.However,most of the EI tests are decontextualized subjective tests.Therefore,this research taking high school students as subjects,compiles the emotional intelligence situational judgment Test.The research inspects the reliability and validity of the test,and analyzes the features of the high school students' emotional intelligence.Based on the previous achievements and empirical researches,this thesis,with junior and senior high school students in saveral high schools in Zhangzhou as subjects,presents the abilily-oriented dimension structure of high school students,collects situational matterials in verious ways,and compiles the Emotional Inteligence Test for High School Students in the way of situational judgment test.Such a test has good reliability and validity by inspection.The result of the confirmative factor analysis shows the model agreement is good.The result also shows that emotional inteligence has four factors: emotional feeling,emotional evaluation,emotional regulation,and emotional expression.And the scientificalness of the division of the theory of emotional inteligence is confirmed.The result of the research indecates: the general standard of the high school students' emotional inteligenc displays positive skewness;the development in the different dimentions is unbalanced;the female students' emotional inteligence is significantly higher than that of the male students';emotional inteligence among the students in different grades remains significant difference;and if personality factors are controlled,emotional inteligence will have the predictive effect to the high school students' social adaptability.
