The development of positive psychology at the end of the 20th century caused the scholars to think about the positive psychology and the positive state.Psychological capital is a kind of positive power that the individual shows in the process of growth and development.When this power is more and more powerful,then the individual's internal mental health level will be higher and higher.EQ has surpassed IQ and become an important factor in one's success.Emotional intelligence is an important ability for an individual to identify and manage his or her own or others'emotions,which affects people's response to the surrounding environment and needs,as well as the development of individual psychology.However,there are few studies on how emotional intelligence affects psychological capital.So will psychological capital as a result of this research variables,to explore the psychological capital from the perspective of emotional intelligence,at the same time according to the theory of ecosystem and maslow's hierarchy of needs theory to join two intermediary variables,social adaptation and self-esteem to discuss social adaptation and self-esteem in emotional intelligence internal influence mechanism of psychological capital,in order to better promote the development of middle school students' mental health.This study with 825 high school students(valid data)as the research object,using the emotional intelligence scale,the social adaptation diagnosis scale,self-esteem scale and the questionnaire of positive psychological capital as a research tool,first analyzed the middle school students'emotional intelligence,psychological capital,social adaptation and self-esteem in grade,gender,whether the one-child and the way of family nurture four the differences of demographic variables,followed by analysis of social adaptation and self-esteem are two variables on the emotional intelligence of middle school students' psychological capital,the role of build two mediation model and a chain mediation model,in order to find out the role of social adaptation and self-esteem.The research findings shows that:1.There are significant differences in middle school students' psychological capital in grade,whether they are the only child or not,and their parenting styles.Emotional intelligence,social adaptation and self-esteem show significant differences in grade,gender,whether they are the only child or not,and their parenting styles.2.Emotional intelligence,social adaptation,self-esteem and psychological capital of middle school students are positively correlated,and psychological capital can be positively predicted by emotional intelligence,social adaptation and self-esteem.3.Emotional intelligence can further affect the level of psychological capital by influencing individual social adaptation,that is,social adaptation plays a partial intermediary role between emotional intelligence and psychological capital.4.Emotional intelligence can further affect the level of psychological capital by affecting individual self-esteem,that is,self-esteem plays a partial intermediary role between emotional intelligence and psychological capital.5.Emotional intelligence can affect social adaptation,further affect self-esteem,and finally affect psychological capital,that is,there is a chain intermediary between emotional intelligence,social adaptation,self-esteem and psychological capital.
