Nowadays,English has already become a popular subject,thus the public put forward higher requirements for English teaching.However,some teachers still use the original teaching method to teach,which becomes one of the reasons for students' lack of learning motivation.Therefore,this paper attempts to implement halving classroom model into the primary English teaching in an experimental way,which explores the acceleration effect to primary English teaching of high grade-section.This research consists of three aspects:the concept and design of primary English teaching of high grade-section based on halving classroom,experimental conclusion and reflection based on halving classroom,and the problems during using the halving classroom and strategies.Firstly,the theory research of halving classroom in primary English teaching.From the theory perspective,the paper explores the fitness of halving classroom to primary English teaching of high grade-section,demonstrates the halving classroom theories concretely,presents the ideal model of halving classroom in primary English teaching of high grade-section and designs the halving classroom in English class.Secondly,the experimental research of halving classroom in primary English teaching.The author chooses two classes of similar level from xi'an S primary school as the experimental subject and uses halving model and traditional model respectively in two months.During two months,the author uses questionnaires and test papers before and after the research to analyze the result,and interviews the students' feeling and experience,which draws a conclusion that halving classroom can promote the primary English teaching in students' comprehension,application ability and develop their creative thinking.Finally,the strategies.The author gives some advice about halving classroom in primary English teaching of high grade-section based on the experimental result.It includes the following three aspects:study motivation,self-inquiry study and individualized learning.
