Study On The Resilience Of Families With Intellectual Disability Family

By the end of 2010,the number of people with intellectual disabilities in China had reached 5.68 million.The group size is huge.Affected by intellectual factors,people with intellectual disabilities have many limitations and defects in cognitive activities and behavioral performance,such as social adaptability,independent learning ability and self-care ability.Is due to the characteristics of these anomalies,the intellectual disabilities and their families in social vulnerable for a long time,and even be discrimination situation,coupled with the demand of itself is difficult,made a great impact on their daily life,it not only displays in rehabilitation training,more joint education activity,the employment situation will be constraints and limitations.With the progress of social moral consciousness,the unfair social status of people with intellectual disability has also begun to receive extensive attention and care from all walks of life.The rehabilitation of the intellectual disability has an important effect on the stability and harmony of the whole society,including the family.So,in-depth discussion and analysis of intellectual disabilities family art force,on the basis of scientific and effective service strategy,not only can help improve mental retardation crowd to strengthen personal function,to adapt to the community environment,and can also reduce the family burden,improve the intellectual disabilities family force of art,also has an important significance for the construction of harmonious community.This paper will take the perspective of social worker as the breakthrough point,through questionnaire investigation and deep interview and participant observation three methods of research,and pick-upped the intellectual disabilities L street,Guangzhou family services as a research example,intellectual disabilities family art force problem on in-depth research and discussion.It is found that people with intellectual disabilities have strong needs for self-care ability,community adaptation ability and interpersonal communication ability,and their families have strong needs for care stress relief and care skills training,etc.Whether these needs can be effectively addressed is directly related to the strength of family resilience of people with intellectual disabilities.In this paper,based on the theory of recovery theory and combining the theory of ecological system,the social support theory for reference,in accordance with the Chinese intellectual disabilities family comprehensive characteristics and the basic situation,the project implementing systematic service of intellectual disabilities family intervention,through the social work philosophy and methods into the intellectual disabilities services within the family,family with intellectual disabilities,mental retardation,layered with intellectual disabilities living community intervention,to provide the related service content,to improve the intellectual disabilities family force of art,as well as social work services working ideas,methods,The improvement of a series of community integration services provides necessary and valuable practical experience and reference value.The traditional method of social work service for the mentally handicapped is mainly provided by social workers,but due to the limitation of social resources and related social workers,the types of social work service are relatively monotonous.And in view of the intellectual disabilities family social work services in intellectual disabilities,family members of mental disabilities,intellectual disabilities relies on the community of service way,as the intellectual disabilities in communication communication ability and social adaptation ability and the professional learning ability exercise and to promote scientific,reasonable and has strong pertinence service assistance.Vane disability groups in social work professionals in the practice under the guidance of the service on the basis of theoretical guidance,in the micro,meso and macro levels system for intellectual disabilities and their families for service planning,more comprehensive to provide service for intellectual disabilities and their families,art force,promote intellectual disabilities and their families of mental retardation families in order to achieve win-win,intellectual disabilities into the community,to adapt to the social life of purpose,and efforts to explore and innovative intellectual disabilities household art force of social work service mode.But as a result of project funding is limited,assigned to the disabled group is running on financial fumes,and the development level and the develop direction is various,relying only on the disabled group of several people to finish the work in the field of disability,combined with social workers mostly graduate or work a few years of college students,although the service center assigned to the disabled group an external supervision,an internal supervision,but due to the lack of practical experience disability group of social workers,unable to timely,accurate and effective communication,supervision lead to disability group in intellectual disabilities household service efforts can't absolutely into effective results.Especially in the service process of carrying out activities and home visits,due to the lack of corresponding theoretical guidance,especially the theoretical guidance and experience accumulation of localization in line with the local conditions and customs of Guangzhou,the disabled group members often take detour during the service,which greatly reduces the work efficiency.
