The purpose of Gagne's information processing theory is to study human learning problems. It was founded by Gagne in the 1950s and gradually appeared with the development of modern communication technology, especially computer technology. In the later stages of the theory's maturity,in order to continue to study human learning and improve the teaching system design,he analyzed the learning task from the aspects of the type of learning and the corresponding basic conditions and auxiliary conditions, and based on the internal events of learning "Nine Major Teaching Events".What this research needs to discuss is:Gagne's information processing theory and the application of nine major teaching events in physics teaching and its impact on physics teaching.Through the establishment of classroom observation scales, classroom recording, data collection, and data processing of the observation points recorded in the classroom observation records, through quantitative analysis of the classroom structure and the degree of application of information processing theory. Then through the analysis of high-quality courses with the same teaching content, the two courses are compared to provide theoretical basis and guidance suggestions for instructional design based on information processing theory. Finally, combined with information processing theory for high school physics teaching design, through teaching design, strive to improve the quality of classroom teaching, reduce the workload of teachers and students, and ultimately achieve the purpose of improving teaching.
