The Party and the government attach great importance to the physical health of students,especially primary and secondary school students.In September 2018,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out at the National Education Congress:"we should establish the educational concept of 'health first',guide students to enjoy fun in physical exercise,and strengthen their physique and temper their will through physical activities."The outline of the national fitness program(2011-2020)clearly states that "improving students' physical health should be taken as the basic goal of school education and listed as an important evaluation content in the assessment of schools".Physical activity of primary and middle school students is an important way to enhance their physique and promote their physical and mental development.Family environment plays an important role in the physical activities of primary and secondary school students.Some achievements have been made by scholars at home and abroad in the early stage of the study on the factors affecting the physical activities of primary and secondary school students,but most of them focus on the individual factors and ignore the most important environmental factors in the growth process of primary and secondary school students-the family.Based on the grounded theory research method,this study conducted in-depth interviews with 35 primary and middle school students,their parents and teachers to construct the theoretical system of influencing factors of physical activity family of primary and middle school students,so as to provide theoretical guidance on the family level for improving the physical health level of primary and middle school students in China.By means of open coding,correlation coding and selective coding,three core categories:family support,family education level,and family sports atmosphere were extracted from three core categories:family support,family education level and family sports atmosphere.Family support includes the concept of parental physical education,parental sports support,parental sports bias,parental work and life pressure,parental communication,family education level including parental education level;Family sports atmosphere includes parent sports background,family companionship,parent-child activities.In this study,the family influencing factors of physical activity of primary and secondary school students were condensed,and the model of family influencing factors of physical activity of primary and secondary school students was constructed to provide targeted strategies for the management policies of physical activities of primary and secondary school students.It is beneficial to meet the need of health promotion intervention.
