In order to respond to the national "Sunshine Sports Plan" and "Healthy China Plan" better,and further expand the basketball population,and grasp the popularity of children's basketball activities,the Basketball Association proposed the "minibasketball" development plan in 2017,and cooperated with the Ministry of Education in the same year.Identified 1942 basketball schools,hoping to accelerate the development of campus basketball in all regions through its leading role.This paper studies the current situation of the "mini-basketball" movement in primary schools in Xi'an basketball,and provides a theoretical reference for the characteristic schools to better carry out their activities,play their role as a model,and promote the further development of "mini-basketball".The article mainly uses the following methods:the literature review,questionnaire survey,expert interviews and field surveys to investigate the characteristics of selected schools and draws the following conclusions:1.The "mini-basketball" campaign rate of 13 primary schools in the Xi'an Basketball Special Primary School sample survey was only 84.6%.In schools that carry out "small basketball" sports,the "mini-basketball" classroom opening rate is 45%,the after-school activity opening rate is 100%,and the training development rate is 81%.The "small basketball" movement has not received universal attention in characteristic schools,and the lack of willingness or insufficient attention to this at the school leadership level is the main factor restricting the development of this movement.2.In terms of the guarantee conditions for the development of the "minibasketball" movement,88%of teachers/coaches believe that the school 's venues and equipment for the "mini-basketball" movement are not sufficient.Nearly 90%of the students expressed dissatisfaction with the school's time and space.Non-opening and non-rental of equipment;in the case of teachers,special schools have basketball teachers,69%of bachelor's degree,31%of graduate and above,but these teachers/coaches have been exposed to "small basketball" sports related training The proportion is only 19%.That is,there are many characteristic schools that fail to meet the recognized standards in terms of basic guarantee conditions,and the relevant education functional departments lack supervision and inspection responsibilities.3.Some schools carry out activities with the purpose of participating in competitions for the purpose of honours.The motivation is contrary to the original design intention of the "small basketball" development plan."Little basketball" teaching gamification and training skills are common,with low participation and award rates,only 63.6%and 45.4%.This is not only related to the training level of school coaches,but also to the fact that most of the "small basketball" games that can be participated in Xi'an do not distinguish between campus and social groups.4.The implementation of the "mini-basketball" activity conforms to the current policy guidance and public opinion environment,but the specific implementation of the policy,especially the implementation of some incentives,appears to be very weak,and it is of little help to the characteristic schools to strengthen the "small basketball"activity.5.The proportion of "mini-basketball" in the survey of students was 64%,indicating that the "mini-basketball" sport in a characteristic school has a good student base and is conducive to its expansion and popularization;The level of knowledge is not very high,and many parents have not even heard the term "mini-basketball".In this regard,it is proposed to establish a supervision and management system for periodic inspection,reporting,evaluation and random interviews of basketball special schools;establish a separate policy for fund rewards and support and strengthen the responsibility of the education management department;establish a "double match"system for the sports education department Suggestions on school competition management methods.Basketball characteristics schools have many shortcomings in the development of"mini-basketball",but some schools have very good practices.For example,schools and schools cooperate to share venue equipment,carry out extra-curricular"mini-basketball" activities,and invite associations to run matches.,Organize training,and actively participate in various types of social events.
