Research On The Current Situation And Development Strategy Of Xi'an Mini Basketball Based On SWOT Analysis

According to relevant research,mini basketball plays an important role in improving students' physical and mental health and promoting the development of physical quality.Xi'an is the economic development center and hub of five provinces in Northwest China.In recent years,Xi'an has actively responded to the call of Chinese Basketball Association,vigorously carried out mini basketball,and made some achievements.However,in the process of the development of mini basketball in Xi'an,there are still some problems in students,teachers(coaches)and parents' cognition,participation,teaching and competition of mini basketball,which need to be seriously studied and solved.By referring to relevant literature,interviews with experts and questionnaires,Using SWOT analysis to analyze the current situation of Xi'an's mini basketball development,it is concluded that: 1)the internal advantages include geographical location,market environment and mass basis;2)the internal disadvantages include backward event management,unfamiliar cognition of mini basketball,lagging campus promotion,urgent improvement of teachers' ability,lack of venue and equipment,and unbalanced resource distribution in each county;3)the external advantages Opportunities are supported by policies,the rapid development of Xi'an's economy and the coordination of market demand;4)external threats are other sports impacts and the contradiction between "learning and sports" is still prominent,"one specialty and multi ability" teachers and coaches are lack.According to the results of SWOT matrix analysis,this paper puts forward some targeted development countermeasures: 1)The long-term and stable development of mini basketball in Xi'an requires the help of superior geographical location,policy support,market advantages,and the influence of mini basketball;2)making good use of the situation,combining with the educational resources of colleges and universities,cultivating "one specialty and multiple abilities" teachers,giving full play to the advantages of mass foundation and market environment,and improving the public's sense of identity for mini basketball;3)relevant departments of Xi'an We should continue to promote the construction of venues,equipment and facilities,establishand improve the competition management system,and strengthen the training of teachers and coaches;4)government departments should speed up the construction of infrastructure,narrow the gap between various regions,and use diversified platforms to promote mini basketball.
