Physics plays a crucial role in promoting the development of science and technology,but the new college entrance examination reform has brought a great negative impact on middle school education.The reasons for this phenomenon are complicated,which are related to the new college entrance examination system and the characteristics of physics itself.Physical discipline has high requirements on students'logical thinking ability,mathematical reasoning ability and ability to combine with practical life.Therefore,middle school students generally feel that physics is difficult to learn,and even their parents and schools suggest that students do not choose physics in the college entrance examination.Textbook is an important carrier and concrete embodiment of curriculum content,and an important reference and basis for teachers to teach and students to learn.The content and structure of textbook text are the key factors affecting the quality of textbook text.Based on the model of textbook difficulty of Liao Boqin,this paper studies the "New Senior Physics for China Students Book 1" published by People's Education Press,Shandong Science and Technology Press and Educational Science Publishing House.Based on the high school physics textbook writing character and the physics course character physics textbook content can be divided into knowledge,experiment,expanding and exercises,and then assign the value to scope and depth of each module,according to the difficulty model to calculate the average depth and the difficulty of three textbooks.The study shows that in the three versions of high school physics textbook,Physics textbook published by Shandong Science and Technology Press is the most difficult,the difficulty of the other two physics textbooks is same.The overall width of people's education edition ranks the third,and the average depth ranks the second with a minimal difference from the first;Luke version of the total breadth of textbooks ranked the first,the first;Textbook of Educational Science Publishing House is ranked second in terms of overall breadth and third in terms of average depth.On the whole,the content of people's education textbook highlights the "narrow and deep" orientation,while the content of textbook published by Shandong Science and Technology Press has the characteristic of "wide and deep".
