The newly promulgated Chinese Curriculum Standards for Senior School(2017 Edition)not only proposed the word “Chinese core quality”,but also defined the method and path to improve the Chinese core quality of senior school students,that is,paying attention to Chinese practice training.Reading itself is an experience process of communication between readers and texts.In such a reading process,the activities can provide students with a situation of dialogue with texts,which help students understand and experience texts.Activity teaching is an effective way to solve the problem of low efficiency of Chinese reading class teaching in senior school,low interest of student in reading learning and the Chinese core quality is difficult to achieve.This paper believes that it is necessary and important for senior school Chinese teachers to change the traditional teaching and learning methods of Chinese reading class in senior school and adopt activity teaching in senior school Chinese reading class.This paper defined the senior school Chinese reading class activity teaching from the perspective of teaching activity forms.The so-called reading class activity teaching refers to the senior school Chinese teacher according the reading teaching goal,the specific text content and the characteristic to design teacher led and student-centered activities in the reading class in an organized and planned way,causes the student to give full play to their subjective initiative and understand and comprehend the text content in positive practice and personal experience,so as to stimulate students' interest in Chinese learning,promote students' Chinese knowledge,reading strategies and other aspects of learning,and develop students' Chinese core quality.This paper made an in-depth investigation on the current situation of senior school Chinese reading class activity teaching,and analyzed the existing problems from six dimensions,namely,the attitude of activity,the significance of activity,the main body of activity,the content of activity,the form of activity,the implemented effect of activity.The first is the leader of activity does not pay enough attention to activity teaching,which lead to the failure to highlight the dominant position of students;the second is the lack of pertinence in the content of the activity,which lead to the failure to highlight the characteristics of Chinese reading;the third is the lack of diversity in the forms of activity,which did not stimulate students' interest in learning;the fourth is the lack of effectiveness in the implementation of activity,which did not cultivate theChinese core quality.For these problems,the author put forward four suggestions for improvement.Firstly,to improve the teachers' ability of activity teaching and pay attention to the students' reading psychology;secondly,to enhance the pertinence of the content of classroom activities and highlight the reading characteristics of senior school Chinese;thirdly,to enrich and innovate the form of reading class activities and stimulate students' interest in reading learning;fourth,to ensure the effectiveness of the implementation of reading activities and effectively cultivate the Chinese core quality.The implementation of activity teaching in reading class can make more senior school students proactively and happily learn and fall in love with Chinese,so that the Chinese core quality of senior school students can be effectively improved in the garden of Chinese reading activities,and further improve the teachers' reading teaching effectiveness.
