Teacher ability is an important manifestation of teachers 'professional qualities.Instructional design ability is an important part of the teacher 's ability system.It is a combination of knowledge,skills and emotional attitudes displayed by teachers in teaching design.The analysis process,design process and evaluation process of the design are revealed.The research on the characteristics and influencing factors of teachers 'instructional design ability is of great significance to enhance teachers' instructional design ability.This study studies the teaching design ability of primary and middle school mathematics teachers,and mainly discusses three aspects of the problem:(1)What are the basic characteristics of primary and middle school mathematics teachers' teaching design ability?(2)What are the group differences in teaching design ability of math teachers in primary and middle schools?(3)What are the influencing factors of mathematics teachers' teaching design ability in primary and middle schools? Aiming at these three problems,this research mainly adopts the method of questionnaire survey.This research is based on the IBSTPI ability assessment framework,and refers to the existing questionnaires with good reliability and validity to investigate the teaching design ability of primary and middle school mathematics teachers.Research is conducted from three aspects: analysis ability,design ability and evaluation ability,and the influence factors of teaching design ability are investigated by Likert's five-point scoring method and open question and answer.Through the collection of online and paper questionnaires,a total of 240 valid questionnaires were collected.Through analysis of the data,we learned what the characteristics of teachers' instructional design capabilities are,and what are the differences between teachers of different genders,ages,titles,grades,etc.What are the factors that affect their teaching design ability and the strength of their influence.The study found that:(1)Among the teaching design abilities of in-service math teachers,the average value of analysis ability is the highest,followed by design ability,and finally evaluation ability.And mainly focuses on the analysis of teachers' ownability,individual analysis of students and analysis of teaching knowledge of each class,but the correlation between them is less considered.(2)There is no significant difference in instructional design abilities among teachers of different genders,educational backgrounds,and grades taught;however,there are significant differences in instructional design abilities among teachers of different ages,teaching ages,and professional titles.(3)From the aspects of teachers themselves,students,parents,schools,and normal education,analyze the influencing factors of teachers 'teaching design ability,and find that teachers' own factors are greater than external factors.According to the enlightenment obtained by the research institute,based on the three directions of the teachers themselves,the school and the cultivation of teachers,they put forward relevant suggestions for the improvement of the teaching design ability of mathematics teachers in elementary and middle schools.
