Investigation And Research On The Current Situation Of Undergraduates’ Participation In Scientific Research In Tibet Universities

In the new period of vigorous development of science and technology,train innovative talents for the socity has become the most important tasks of colleges and universities.As the most representative university in the Tibet Autonomous Region,Tibet University shoulders the important task of developing high-quality talents continuously for the regional economic development.In order to better promote the development of higher education in Tibet,It is very important to pay more attention to the cultivation of innovative talents on the existing basis,and improve students’ innovative ability and practical ability.Undergraduate students to participate in scientific research is helpful to cultivate students’ innovation consciousness and the all-round development of students.It has been confirmed as one of the effective ways to cultivate the innovative talents in universities.Therefore,this paper makes a deep research about the current situation of undergraduate scientific research which in order to provide a useful reference for optimizing the cultivation of innovative talents in Tibet University.This study mainly adopts the literature,questionnaire survey and interview method to research the current situation of undergraduate students in scientific research of Tibet university,and further analyzes the main reasons affecting undergraduate scientific research activities of Tibet University,and the author talks about some suggestions for the development of undergraduate scientific research activities of Tibet University on the basis of the actual situation.This paper has four parts.The first part is the introduction,It systematically explains the background,purpose,significance and introduces some definitions,thetheoretical basis of this research,and the related research situation at home and abroad.The second part analyzes the current situation of the undergraduate scientific research in Tibet University.We can understand the achievements and problems in undergraduate scientific research after surveying the undergraduate students of Tibet University.According to the survey results,We can see the participation rate of undergraduates in scientific research in Tibet University is slow,and there are some obvious differences in gender,students’ positions,majors and grades.It is not ideal about the overall situation of undergraduate scientific research in Tibet University.The third part is the analysis of the main factors which affect undergraduate scientific research in Tibet University.The main reasons include time and energy,teachers’ guidance,curriculum setting and academic atmosphere.The last part points some suggestions for improving undergraduate scientific research in Tibet University from students,teachers and university respects.The author thinks undergraduates should stimulate their own interest in scientific research,enhance their confidence,change learning ways and become the host of study.Teachers should change their ideas,strengthen the professional quality and improve the teachers’ guidance.The school should improve the undergraduates’ scientific research mechanism,carry out the research-based teaching methods,improve the organization and management and creat a good academic atmosphere,so as to increase the undergraduate participation rate in Tibet University and make scientific research play a good role in educating students.
