The Application Of Development Model Group Work In Improving The Employability Of Poor College Students

Poor college students' difficulty in finding employment is caused by a variety of reasons,while how to improve their employability rapidly will be the key to solve this problem.This research aims to use professional social work concepts,methods and techniques to form a capacity improvement group for poor college students,to solve the problem of employment by enhancing the employability of undergraduates,so as to enrich practical experience of social group work in the development and promotion of the ability of vulnerable groups,and test the relevant theories of social work in the process of this service.This group work is on poor college students,taking group dynamics theory as the theoretical basis,using questionnaire survey method,experimental research and so on.An employability improvement group named "co-growth and dream-chasing" was launched among college graduates in S academy of H university for two months.Before it started,the author organized and analyzed the relevant information of the targets,focusing on the group needs of professional skills on improvement in employability,and designed a developmental group work project that meets the needs.7 group activities were carried out using group work methods to enhance the group members' 20 capabilities in learning and innovation ability,critical thinking ability,communication and practice ability,the ability of hunting for jobs and social adaptation ability to help solve the problem of difficulties in employment for poor college students.In this paper,16 college students are used as the experimental group,and other 16 college students are used as the control group.The two groups of employees are tested through the "Self-Evaluation Form for College Students' Employability" before and after the group work project to collect data and come to the conclusion that this group work has a relatively obvious role in improving the employability of poor college students.Among them,the effect of improving the job application ability and communication practice ability is the most obvious.And the work experience of this group has practical value and has the operability of promotion.
