Chinese traditional opera contains the traditional virtues,wisdom essence,artistic quintessence as well as aesthetic tastes of the Chinese nation.However,with the fast development of market economy,especially the popularization of commercial film-television industry,network and modern media,the present traditional opera has been gradually marginalized or even sharply disappeared.Primary and secondary school students are becoming more and more unfamiliar with traditional opera,and their cultural awareness of opera is becoming increasingly weak.Education plays an active role in achieving cultural heritage.The literariness of traditional opera as well as the humanity of Chinese subject determine that Chinese education is extremely significant in the revitalization of traditional opera."Carrying traditional opera into schools" has a crucial valuable significance,which is conducive to the spread of national culture and the vigorous development of local opera.However,through the investigation and research of many primary and secondary schools in Fuzhou City which carry out the activity of "traditional opera into schools",it is found that the objective social environment of "traditional opera into schools" is not impeccable,and the "bearing function" of Chinese education also has many deficiencies needed to be improved.Chinese education plays a considerable role in carrying traditional opera into schools.First of all,in the aspect of text teaching of traditional opera,help students to understand the main idea of the script through story plot and character shaping,taste the poetic language of the script,and appreciate the expression and interest of ancient opera;second,show the personality shaping function of traditional opera teaching,guide students to understand and inherit the traditional virtues of Chinese nation such as loyalty,filial piety,courtesy and righteousness.The implementation path of Chinese education carrying "traditional opera into schools" is shown in three aspects:first,the opera teaching in Chinese course should adopt diversified teaching modes and compile special teaching materials for opera;second,expand the second classroom of opera teaching in combination with local opera resources;third,improve the social environment,perfect the mechanism of local management departments,increase financial support,and turn the schools into a base for opera inheritance.
