Since the reform and opening up,China's economy has achieved great development.As a basic unit of society,family has also undergone great changes,among which family background has a direct impact on students' history studies.The obvious social transformation before and after the reform and opening-up has brought about obvious changes in today's family structure and environment.As the foundation of students' physical and mental development,family background will naturally have an important impact on students' academic performance in history.Taking leping no.4 middle school as an example,this paper discusses the influence of family background on students' historical performance.Through investigation,we find that: parents' participation in students' homework and positive evaluation are positively correlated with their academic performance;The time and space of off-campus study are in direct proportion to the academic performance of history.The more educated the parents,the better the students' scores in history;Students' parents are civil servants,public institutions than enterprises' parents,students' history course scores are significantly higher;Parents' perception of history influences the depth of students' learning.Parents' expectations had no significant effect on students' history scores.In addition,the abundance of students' family learning resources and the amount of time allocated are in direct proportion to their academic performance.Parents' understanding and attitude towards history subjects is directly proportional to their academic achievements.In addition to parents' oral expectations,parents' practical actions to assist their children's academic performance is also in direct proportion to students' historical performance.For this reason,this paper puts forward some Suggestions to improve the students' performance in history.Second,to improve parents' educational level and guidance ability.Third,to change parents' attitude towards history and enhance their interest in history.Fourth,improve parents' expectations of their children's academic performance and educational management;Fifth,improve parents' participation instudents' homework,and understand and encourage students' test scores.
