With China’s quality education and curriculum reform in an all-round way and further, people became aware of the fact that teachers are key to education reforms. Teachers Professionalization has become not only the common development trend of teachers’education around the world. But also the objective requirement of the education development in China.According to our national condition the very difficulties and importance of teachers’specialization both lie in the rural area in China. The rural teachers’professional development situation directly affect the overall education development level in China.So the development of education in rural area become very important an necessary.With the great effort that the reform of elementary music education has made,the music education reform in our country has made great achievements. However, in China’s rural areas, the rural music teacher professional development have met many barricades.For the worst,in someone’s especially some music teachers’mind music lessons are just "subsidiary subjects" or "singing lessons". Most of the children in the countryside lost their chance to have music lessons. Therefore, as a future music teacher,it is necessary to know the level of rural music teacher’s professional development.The author chooses her hometown----the rural area of Leping city Jiangxi province as the researching area; the music teachers in29rural middle schools of16towns and2 townships in Leping as the detailed survey object.In this article she will analyzes the problems existed in professional development and give an preliminary exploration to rural middle schools music teachers’professionalization aiming to find the development strategy.The full text can be divided into four parts.Part1:Introduces the reason for the subject, the research significance, the research object, the study method and research review.Recently With China’s quality education and curriculum reform in an all-round way and further,people think that teachers should be more professional.Rural problem is a big problem of education in our country, the development of rural education directly relates to the whole education development of our nation, and music education is the very weak point in the loop of rural education. As a future music teacher,it is necessary to know the level of rural music teacher’s professional development.Part2:to introduce the related theories including the definition of the specialization of teachers, the development history and the fundamentals of the three aspects. First of all define the concepts of the countryside, rural middle schools, rural middle schools music teachers, teachers’professional and music teachers’professional; Second,Generally enumerate the domestic and foreign teachers’professional development process; Finally put forward the theoretical basis of support——the country’s long-term education reform and development plan outline (2010-2020), music new course standard theory, lifelong education theory.Part3:investigation on and analysis of the professional present situation of music teachers in the rural middle schools in Leping jiangxi province. Mainly adopts questionnaire, interview factual records and classroom observation.Through the investigation the author found that there are several major problems of the region music teachers, namely professional consciousness, singleness of professional knowledge structure and professional skills,the lack of education scientific research ability and professional cooperation consciousness.Part4:the analyses of the reasons and puts forward a little humble opinion on the problems occurred in this area. Main causes include education department management deficiencies, lack of full-time music teachers, terrible working conditions and less training opportunities etc.. According to these reasons, this paper puts forward some measures, such as strengthening concept changing, improve the music teachers management; establishing teams of full-time music teachers in different ways; improving the working environment so as to inspire music teachers’working enthusiasm; Paying attention to the teachers training and improving music teachers’ level.
