The internationalization of education is a new current in the field of domestic K12 education since the new century.More and more high school students choose to study in famous foreign universities in the future in order to get better education resources. While cultural identity is an issue that deserves attention. In education, cultural identity is closely related to the overall goal of the socialist education cause, and is also a specific requirement of cultural self-confidence.In normal middle schools, international schools, and international departments, foster virtue through education are the fundamental tasks that need to be implemented in education. As a subject to learn the language and culture of the motherland, the Chinese language discipline has a vital influence on the international students 'cultural identity with Chinese culture.Compared with ordinary high school students, international students are more susceptible to foreign cultures before and after going abroad. Therefore,to cultivate students' cultural self-confidence and national feelings in the Chinese teaching of the International Department,so that the students of the International Department form a correct and firm sense of identity with the Chinese culture and their Chinese identity is the requirement of the Chinese course teaching of the International Department. This thesis mainly takes the Chinese course teaching practice of the International Department of Hunan Provincial Demonstration High School as the research object, focusing on the situation of the representative Yale Middle School International Department,Changsha No.1 Middle School International Department and Changjun Middle School International Department in Changsha Disrict. The interviews, observations, questionnaires, and other methods were used to conduct field investigations on these three schools on the issues of Chinese course teaching and cultural identity, and the survey results were sorted out and summarized. The content of the survey included Chinese course teaching in the International Department, reading and writing activities in and out of class for international students, and examinations papers of international students.Through investigation and research,it was found that among the students of the International Department, some students lacked a sense of identity and resistance to the Chinese culture and their Chinese identity. In the current Chinese course teaching of the International Department, there are also obvious problems such as students' lack of interest in learning Chinese, teachers' lack of targeted teaching strategies, and lack of emphasis on the accumulation of basic knowledge. These phenomena are caused by various factors such as differences in training directions, differences in curriculum settings, and richer overseas life travel experiences of international students. In response to these problems,Chinese teachers of the International Department should improve their literacy in foreign languages and international perspectives, adapt to the requirements of the International Department's Chinese course teaching, encourage students to share their own experiences in classroom teaching, and pay attention to students' digital reading and writing Focus on cultivating students' independent thinking ability.
