The fundamental purpose of education is to "cultivating person".As a comprehensive and practical course for learning the use of the motherland's language and characters,Chinese is unique in its ability about "li yan yi li ren".The learning content of Chinese textbooks is limited,and students need to be encouraged to do a lot of extracurricular reading.New Chinese Readings was first published under the background of the large-scale discussion of Chinese education reform in the 1990 s.After publication,it has received widespread attention from all walks of life.It is hailed as "the best humanistic enlightenment readings after 1949." It is an important resource to extend and supplement textbook contents and enrich classroom teaching.The Chinese education idea of "li yan yi li ren" runs through the whole course of the book and is reflected through the selection of classic articles and the very instructive reading aid system.When teaching,it is helpful to improve teachers' comprehensive ability and enhance students' Chinese core accomplishment,which is of far-reaching significance to the two subjects of "teaching" and "learning".First of all,this paper starts from the origin and establishment of the thought of "cultivating person",and combines the curriculum standards to outline what kind of "person" should be cultivated,and combines the unique "li yan" function of Chinese education to specifically analyze the Chinese education idea of "li yan yi li ren".Secondly,the selection system of a complete set of 24 volumes of New Chinese Readings is grasped as a whole,classified according to the theme,and analyzed and grasped the Chinese education idea of "li yan yi li ren" embodied in the book.And from the unit introduction,notes,illustrations,reading advice and other aspects of the reading aid system to analyze,understand the contained "li yan yi li ren" education idea.Through the analysis of the text selection system and the reading aid system,this paper explores how the Chinese education idea of "li yan yi li ren" is embodied in the New Chinese Readings.Then from the teacher and the student two main bodies start,analyzes teaching value of "li yan yi li ren" education idea;Finally,based on the analysis of the difficulties faced in the promotion of "li yan yi li ren" education idea in the New Chinese Readings,the corresponding strategies are proposed.
